Prim.Olio

An exhibition market and tasting for oil and other typical products 

 

Prim.olio is the most important event, in terms of oil and other typical products, in the Bagno a Ripoli area. 

 

It is held every year in Bagno a Ripoli around the middle of November along Via Roma, where farmers and agricultural companies set up their stands. 

 

In parallel with the trade show, the “Giocciola d’Oro” (Golden Drop) competition is held. A jury of experts and tasters from the Chamber of Commerce draw up a ranking, identifying the three best oils produced in Bagno a Ripoli. 

 

The aim of the event is to promote agriculture and its excellent high quality products, promoting by extension (thanks to the short production chain) the entire area of Bagno a Ripoli.
