MTB tours with ecological guide
The territory of Bagno a Ripoli is rich in historical evidence ranging from the Etruscans to the Romans to the Medici and Lorraine to 1944 when the Sinigaglia Partisan Brigade made a decisive contribution to the liberation of Florence from German occupation.
However, the territory of the municipality is also very interesting from a landscape point of view. The Fontesanta Park constitutes an important “ecological niche“, hills, valleys and woods alternate with fields of olive trees, vines and vegetable gardens overlooking the plain of Florence and Prato with a view towards the Florence Dome. It is a very attractive area for many outdoor activities, trails for walking and mountain biking to spend pleasant days immersed in nature just a stone’s throw from Florence.
